By downloading or using Mote ("the app"), you agree to these terms.

The app

Mote is a remote-control app that connects to Android TV devices over your local Wi-Fi network. It is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind. We aim to keep it working reliably but don't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Subscriptions & purchases

Mote offers an optional Premium upgrade via auto-renewing monthly ($4.99) or annual ($19.99) subscriptions, or a one-time Lifetime purchase ($39.99). Subscriptions automatically renew at the listed price until cancelled. You can manage or cancel a subscription at any time through the Google Play Store > Subscriptions. Payment is charged to your Google Play account. Refunds are handled according to Google Play's refund policy, not by us directly.

Acceptable use

You agree not to reverse-engineer, resell, or use the app to interfere with devices you don't own or have permission to control.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including issues caused by your TV, network, or third-party services (Google Play Billing, AdMob, Android speech recognition) that Mote relies on.

Changes

We may update the app or these terms over time. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Termination

You may stop using Mote at any time by uninstalling it. We may discontinue or modify the app or any feature at our discretion.
